I went for a beautiful 3 mile run yesterday after work. Both of my knees feel great. I was able to let go and soak in the beautiful weather and be with my thoughts for a few minutes. Running rewarded me with a brief yet much needed meditation. I am so grateful that my body is feeling strong again. I am honoring my recovery plans by staying within a comfortable distance, and disregarding speed. However, I was not disappointed with my pace yesterday.
When I got home, I diligently stretched and worked with my foam roller to work out any tightness. I will be off to the pool shortly for some aqua jogging and strength training. Happy hump day!
